This kit is an upgraded version of the classic "Pixie" low-power transceiver for 40m (7MHz band). In the new version of the 'Pixie', the frequency tuning knob located conviently on the front of the case a much better arrangement than previous versions, and the transceiver frequency is adjustable between 7023khz and 7026khz, which is convenient to listen to CW and possibly SSB signals.
Super Pixie CW short wave transceiver complete kit of parts with shell that includes feet and tuning control knob.
The supplied instructions are adequate to build the kit and I am happy to provide support if required.
Nicely sounding receiver with integrated side-tone when transmitting as shown in the video.
Finished off in a very neat and tidy case with easy front located tuning.
One possible improvement would be inclusion of an on/off switch - just ask and I'll add one into the kit but you'll need to drill your own hole!
Also available tested and assembeld with extra 40m crystals!

The Pixie is a CW (Morse) transceiver for beginners. It is built on a 2 layer pcb 50mm x 50mm.
There are about 30 components to solder, with most resistors placed upright to save on space.
The Super Pixie comes with a neat plastic case and jack sockets for fitting to the rear and front panels.
It comes with a single 7.023MHz crystal, but I recommend the version supplied with crystal assortment.
It is good for experimenting or basis to create your own designs.
Good value for money!
