This kit is an upgraded version of the classic "Pixie" low-power transceiver for 40m (7MHz band).
In the new version of the 'Pixie', the frequency tuning knob located conviently on the front of the case a much better arrangement than previous versions, and the transceiver frequency is adjustable between 7023khz and 7026khz, which is convenient to listen to CW and possibly SSB signals.

The supplied instructions are adequate to build the kit and I am happy to provide support if required. Nicely sounding receiver with integrated side-tone when transmitting as shown in the video.
Finished off in a very neat and tidy case with easy front located tuning. Only possible improvement would be inclusion of an on/off switch - just ask and I'll add one into the kit but you'll need to drill your own hole! (also available as a tested and assembeld kit with extra 40m crystals!)
Power: 0.5W (12V power supply via rear socket) also complete with 9v battery (PP9) clip for portable use.
